Rain Gauge App & Dark Sky Tech

About Rain Gauge App & Dark Sky Tech

Rain Gauge & Dark Sky Tech (Hyperlocal Weather) is a free rain gauge app and a full weather app in one. It answers one question precisely: how much did it rain at your exact location — today, yesterday or any day in the past? No hardware, no bucket to empty: the virtual rain gauge measures rain totals for any spot on the map, hour by hour.

💧 RAIN GAUGE — RAINFALL TOTALS WITHOUT HARDWARE • Hourly and daily rainfall totals for your exact location • Color-coded rain calendar: see how much rain fell on any day • Interactive rainfall map: tap and hold anywhere for the rain total at that point • Last 24 / 48 / 72 hours with wind and precipitation type (rain, snow, sleet) • Time Machine: rainfall history for any past date — a rain gauge you can rewind • Compare rain totals across all your saved locations — one rainfall tracker for every field, farm or property • Inches or millimeters; works as a digital pluviometer wherever you are

🌾 BUILT FOR FARMERS, GROWERS AND ANYONE WHO WORKS OUTSIDE Farmers, ranchers and growers use the rain gauge to see how much rain fell on each field or pasture, decide when to irrigate, when to spray, when to plant or harvest, and when the soil is dry enough for machinery. Gardeners and lawn-care crews plan watering. Construction sites, landscapers and stormwater managers check rain totals before work starts. Hay growers, vineyards, orchards and crop advisors keep a rain log for every location they manage — a rain tracker that never needs emptying.

⏱ MINUTE-BY-MINUTE RAIN FORECAST Know exactly when rain will start and stop at your location, down to the minute. Perfect for commuting, dog walks, sports and school runs.

🔔 CUSTOM RAIN ALERTS — BUILT BY YOU Rain, wind, frost, UV and more. You pick the threshold and the hours. Alerts can fire on real readings from nearby weather stations, not just forecasts.
